![]() It comes down to whether I want to play something, so few things are off the table since 1080p, 60 FPS is not something I need to have fun.Īll in all tho, Session is not stable enough yet. Sometimes we gotta do what we can with what we have, which is why no one can tell me I can't run Cyberpunk on a 1050 Ti cuz I do, I just have the resolution at 720p and the FPS locked to 30 □ I can tolerate that and despite its bugs, the game is overall quite stable. If you set the resolution to 720p, you might be able to comfortably go above 30, for example. I'm gonna tell you right now that, sometimes, you gotta be realistic with your rig and *how* you can run a game, rather then whether you can. One thing you can do with any game is lock the FPS to odd values using the NVIDIA control panel, so if you want the FPS will go as high as 45, for example. Not all games are locked to 30, but it makes sense that SXL would be. It's possible that SXL is locked to 30 on consoles. same applies to other limits, or even setting it to unlimited and turning off v-sync to go as high as your computer can (don't necessarily recommend this). The frame locker means that, if you want to lock it to 30, it won't go any higher than that. Wondering if the same applies to session. By frame locker, do you mean it never goes below 30FPS? I should note that I tried skater xl on the original xbox one which I believe runs games at 30FPS and then tried it on my PC and noticed a big difference in how smooth it was on my PC, I guess due to the higher frames. ideally for me 45 to 60 FPS would be decent for me. Just keep in mind that this latest update had an impact on performance for a lot of people, probably due to the lighting update and the polish in the physics. There are a few options you can tinker with, though, if you don't mind going a step below medium on some of them. ![]() Session has a built-in frame locker, so the devs consider 30 FPS as acceptable since that's one of the options. You might struggle to so much as reach 60, or maintain it, but it should be fine at 30. Originally posted by it's a gabe:Define decent frames.
